From Jihad Watch:
Mosque bomb injures 20 in Afghanistan
The Taliban don't even hesitate to set off a bomb inside a mosque. As far as they are concerned, those within it are heretics, apostates, for dealing with the elections, and so they're fair game.
"Mosque bomb injures 20 in Afghanistan: general," from AFP, July 23 (thanks to Twostellas):
KHOST, Afghanistan (AFP) - At least 20 people, including a candidate in upcoming parliamentary elections, were injured Friday when a bomb exploded at a mosque in eastern Afghanistan, a general said.
The blast seriously injured the candidate, Sayedullah Sayed, who was campaigning at the time.
The incident took place in Bahramkhail, a village in Khost province's Ismailkhail district, on the eastern border with Pakistan, said General Nawab Khan, commander of the coordination body for Afghan and NATO forces in Khost.
"Twenty people have been wounded in the bomb blast inside the mosque," Khan told AFP.
He said no one had claimed responsibility for the bombing, but blamed it on "enemies of Afghanistan," a euphemism for the Taliban....
