The House of Commons expresses concern over Ankara's stance in the ongoing negotiations for the Cyprus problem and calls on the British Government to exert pressure so that Turkey adopts a more constructive attitude.
In an early day motion that was tabled in the House by Labour MP Alan Meale and was signed so far by 17MPs, the House calls on the Government as a guarantor power, to insist that Turkey adopts a more constructive attitude in negotiations, aimed at establishing a viable, fair and lasting solution to the problem.
