Noose Tightens on Gadhafi; Some Military Join Opposition; Protesters on Streets of Tripoli – Video 2/26/11
The noose continues to tighten on Libyan Dictator Moammar Gadhafi. This video shows a street battle in the Libyan city of Zawiya – only 50 km from the Capital City of Tripoli. It shows some Libyan Military members joining in with protesters as they celebrate the fall of the city to opposition forces. Protesters reportedly in the streets of Tripoli are also shown.
Gadhafi has said he will die “as a martyr” on Libyan soil.
